4. Nominee Director
   • Appointed by institutions, Central/State Government, or as per shareholder agreements.
   • Must be provided for in the company’s AoA.
5. Alternate Director
   • Appointed if a director is absent from India for 3+ months.
   • Term is limited to the original director’s tenure and vacates office when the original director returns.
6. Additional Director
   • Appointed by the Board to fill a temporary vacancy until the next AGM or the due date of AGM.
